UPPSC APO Syllabus — Law Subjects

The Mains examination covers three descriptive law papers:

  • Paper I: BNS 2023 (Indian Penal Laws), POCSO Act, Juvenile Justice Act
  • Paper II: BNSS 2023, BSA 2023, UP-specific procedural laws
  • Paper III: Constitutional Law, Revenue Laws (UP Revenue Code), UP-specific legislation
APO Preparation Focus: Since APOs are prosecutors, criminal law is the heart of the exam. Master BNS, BNSS, BSA thoroughly. Also prepare UP Revenue Code and UP Police Act for Paper III. Interview tests knowledge of current legal affairs and criminal justice system.
